Dear God, we know that we do not have the power to know what is in the heart and mind of another, but we pray that this 96 year old has accepted Jesus even if he does not tell another that he has done so. Hopefully for the family this will happen.

Dear God, I pray that Robert will accept Jesus Christ as Savior before it is to late.Amen.

Dear God, Please place a burden upon this father's heart to accept you as his savoir, if indeed he has not. Heal his heart according to your will so that he may return home to be with his family. Give the medical staff the knowledge they need as the

care for him. Thank you, Lord, for cleansing us of our sins and for giving us Eternal life. Amen. Ladeebug, I hope that a staff member will be able to witness to your father and allow him a chance to see that God is what he needs more than life

itself. Just this past Saturday night as I was passing out meds to an 81 year-old patient, she was deeply depressed and expressed no desire to keep living--she stated she had a meaning altho' she did say that she was a Christain. I talked with her

for quite awhile despite the busy night I knew I had ahead of me. It was time well spent. We talked about many things including the death of our children. She had just lost a mother, three children and a husband all within one year--leaving only two

daughters left. I told her of my own loss of my first little girl and my parents. By the time I left, she actually had a smile on her face! God gives us opportunities in the strangest places and at the strangest times to witness. I feel so blessed to

have had this one and hope that in some small way I helped this patient so that only God knows when our time is up here on Earth. We are here for a purpose. I pray that your father will accept God as his Saviour and that perhaps someone will be sent

into his room to witness to him. I will say a very special prayer for him!
