special prayer for a special friend

Once again I am asking for special prayers for my dear friend. I still haven't heard anything from him. I continue to think about him everyday and pray daily for him. Tomorrow night (28th) he will conduct a concert. I plan to attend. Please, I ask that you pray that God will speak to him and that somehow things will begin to change for the better--perhaps starting on this evening of the concert. I miss sharing so many things with this person. Thank you for all of your prayers. I know that if it is God's will, that everything will work out! Last week as I went to do my video, I was within site of Lookout Mtn.--that is the place that our friendship started 11 mos. ago tonight. I miss him so much! I pray that he is kept safe and that God will bless him with peace and happiness. Again, thanks for your continued prayers. They mean so very, very much to me!!

Oh, what an awesome concert!!! My friend has done such an outstanding job with these kids!! How I wish that my son were still under his direction! Maybe one day... Meanwhile, I did not speak to him. Instead, I decided to leave a note on his car and an apple :-) -- every wonderful teacher deserves an apple. I am hoping that he will take that note in a good way in which it was written and will not be angry or frustrated. I walked around the school afterwards (despite the cold weather) and prayed/cried the whole time. I cannot give up on this person, no matter how hard he tries to ignore me and the friendship that we once had nor how hard I try to go on and forget, too. I have prayed begging God to help me with this. I am finding it harder to forget this person as each day goes by. I remember what a wonderful person he is and how sweet he always was to me--the feelings are growing more deeper, I'm afraid.--more than just a friendship, but if friendship is all that God will allow, I'll accept that. Please pray that it is God's will one day for us to be together again. I feel in my heart that it is so right and that God made our paths cross for a reason!! The tugging that I'm feeling is so strong, yet he is being so distant. Perhaps time will change all of this. I pray so. Please pray that it will. Thank you for all your continued prayers. I know God hears each one and that one day, I hope this very special person will have his heart spoken to and softened so that he will desire to return back to me--whether it be as a dear friend or more. God, I ask your will to be done. My heart is seeking out for this person to return my way. Please let it be your will. Be with him and protect him always from all harm and illness. Thank you, dear Heavenly Father, for placing this wonderful person in my life. I am now asking for it to be your will for him to return. Touch his heart in a very special way-showing him that I care very much. Amen.

Did not hear a reply from the note that I left on his car. However, I did get a very brief reply from him after sending a professional email to his school email address concerning the concert. I guess that's better than nothing. I have since written a rather long personal letter explaining my feelings on what is going on, etc. I had planned on leaving it on his car after I got of school Friday evening (thinking that he would be at the game). However, he did not attend the game and so I am praying for the right opportunity to come for me to give him this letter. I explained how I felt God was still speaking to me on having patience with the situation and how much his friendship has meant. I truly feel in my heart that God has it in His plan for things to work out--can't explain why--just have that feeling. The times that I feel like giving up, God seems to nudge my faith a little!! I don't question His method of how He is guiding things. I just try to do what He guides me to do. Please, do continue to pray for me to understand His guidance and for my very dear, sweet friend. There are times when I just completely get so down and out without the returned friendship that we once had, but God seems to carry me through it--always giving me the faith and hope that I need and am seeking. Thanks so much for your continued prayers and encouraging/supportive words. Maybe one day....Meanwhile, I can only keep my faith that God will speak to him and that things will change for the better between us! I do know that my friend is really frightened right now about things. I have shared this site with him (he is a Christian!) in hopes that he will use it as a means of gaining strength and encouragement from fellow brothers and sisters in Christ such as I have.Who knows, maybe he will log on and what I have written will somehow make him think of me and will allow him an understanding of things. I can only hope! Please God, again, be with my dear friend. Let him see that he has no reason to be scared about anything...you are always there for him and will protect him. As he remembers that verse that he always quoted to me, "Everything has a reason.." speak to him and let him see your will in this matter. Let him see how special he is to me and that I want our friendship to be renewed. Thank you, dear Father, again for this very wonderful person. Amen.

Well, I did have an opportunity to leave my friend that letter on his car on day last week at school, but have not gotten a reply (not surprising to me, though--I think he still needs time). I will continue to pray that God will speak to him and that our friendship will one day be renewed. I just have to have patience. Now is really not a good time, I guess, for either of us as things are not going well in our personal lives and perhaps it's just God's way of saying to wait patiently. I would very much like everyone to continue to pray, though, for this friendship and for this friend. He is such a wonderful person who deserves happiness and goodness in his life. I truly miss sharing with him and hope that it's God's will for that to return for us one day in the future. He still brings much joy to me each time that I see him. Thanks for your prayers so far. They mean alot to me and I know that God listens to each one of them and does answer prayers!!
